I heard this from a very old guy who jokingly said to a young man;

“I’ve sure gotten old! I’ve had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes.

I’m half blind, can’t hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can’t remember if I’m 85 or 92.

Have lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver’s license.”

You know what I believe?

I believe that because you are still alive, God has more instore for you. How do I know this? Simple. If I am God and I have nothing more to give you that could be a blessing for you, then I would just call you to be with me in heaven. If there’s nothing more for you here on earth, then might as well bring you home already, right?

Again, you are still here – a breathing human being – because there are purposes left to be fulfilled and blessings yet to be received.

So, no matter how old you are, believe that the best is still yet to come!

Declare: “God is not yet done with me!”

“But GOD’s not finished. He’s waiting around to be gracious to you.” Isaiah 30:18

Live a fun-filled life!
